Mark Clark, a Toronto based Canadian artisan, specializes in the design and creation of kinetic sculpture. In Sydney, Australia he trained and apprenticed with his mentor, G. Gouvnier, a third generation New Zealand blacksmith and architecture iron-worker.

Upon his return to Canada, he was able to translate his new skills into traditional and contemporary art forms. Mark has a flair for meticulously balancing steel and stone; clever configurations of materials allows each piece to move quietly with the wind.

Mixed media gives a rich textural life to each sculpture. He enjoys combining found objects (stone, glass, brick) with new materials (steel, concrete, copper). These solid forms are an intriguing addition to any atrium, garden or terrace; one has the freedom of choice to place them indoors or out.
