METALURGE is pleased to be able to offer fairly-traded handcrafted work from South African community development projects.  The exceptional talents of African artists and designers working in modern and traditional techniques is displayed through the work of such companies as Hands, ZenZulu, and Kaross.  The artists are real people with social relevance, who, like artisans over the world put personal love and hours of dedication into each product.

METALURGE encourages everyone to support the Stephen Lewis Foundation.  The Foundation assists associations of people living with HIV/AIDS, so that they can educate themselves and share information with the broader community on prevention, treatment, care and the elimination of stigma; to provide care at community level to women who are dying, so that are free from pain, humiliation and indignity; and, to assist orphans and other AIDS-affected children, in every possible way.
